Brent Weatherly is CEO and CTO of BIOINQUIRE. He co-founded the company in 2006 with a vision to create user-friendly software to empower the scientific discovery process. Weatherly brings over 13 years of experience in software design and technology management to BIOINQUIRE. As CTO, he oversees the development of all software for BIOINQUIRE.

Prior to founding BIOINQUIRE, Weatherly developed systems biology software as a scientific computing professional at the University of Georgia. He spent 6 years as production manager for the Atlanta-based computer company Gain Systems and has extensive experience as an independent IT consultant. He received a Masters of Computer Science from the University of Georgia.

Atwood co-founded BIOINQUIRE in 2006. As COO, Atwood is responsible for advancing the company’s vision for new innovations and growing its customer base. In addition, Atwood, through design and implementation of systems, works to deliver BIOINQUIRE’s unique technologies to the research community. He brings over ten years of research experience in proteomics and glycomics with numerous proteomics publications and patents. Atwood holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Georgia.

Lin Lin joined BIOINQUIRE in 2007 where she serves are a Senior Software Engineer developing BIOINQUIRE’s leading proteomics software. Most recently Lin was a Scientific Computing Professional at the University of Georgia where she was responsible for developing an automated workflow and analysis system for tandem mass spectrometry data at the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center. Lin holds a Master’s of Computer Science from the University of Georgia.
